Wall Era – Gilmour’s Muff Sound on The Wall
Introducing the Baroni Lab Wall Era distortion pedal. This stompbox provides a wonderful distortion, deep and rich in harmonics. Modelled after Gilmour’s set-up for Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’, this is a boutique big muff style pedal not to be missed.
The Wall included a great many famous songs, including Comfortably Numb and Another Brick in the Wall Parts 1-3, which have made a huge impression on the world of music since the albums release over 30 years ago.
Our Wall Era features three knobs for changing ‘Drive’, ‘Tone’ and ‘Volume’, as well as a toggle switch to change between ‘Flat’ and ‘Mid Boost’ modes, complete with a footswitch for going between buffered bypass and active. The tone control is particularly interesting, as it not only covers bass to treble, but also alters the kind of distortion applied to the sound. This means that the Wall Era is one of the most versatile big muff distortions available today!
